Role of Affiliate Marketing Software Programs in your success
Posted on October 27, 2011 by Brian
Affiliate marketing is a simple yet effective way of earning money
through your website. However, to really succeed in affiliate
marketing, you would need to promote more than one product or service
and you would have to use an affiliate marketing software program.
There are several affiliate marketing software programs available
online, and you may find yourself having an edge over your competitors
if you choose the right program. Here is a look at the roles an
affiliate marketing program can play in the success of your affiliate
business.
It saves you time
An affiliate business requires you to promote a product or service sold
by an online merchant. The promotions you have to undertake would
include creating billboard, banners and setting up a pay-per-click
system on your website. For obvious reasons, creating these promotional
materials would require a lot of time on your end, especially if you
are really sure about how to create them. A lot of trial and error
would be required, and sometimes you may just feel like quitting. You
can save yourself a lot of time with the help of an affiliate software
program so that you can concentrate on the more important parts of your
business, or just take a break and relax.
It saves you effort
As mentioned before, the creation of promotional material can take a
lot of time and effort. Integrating these banners onto your website
would require a certain level of expertise and lots of effort. Instead
of getting exasperated over all the effort involved, you can leave the
work on an affiliate marketing software program. A good program would
have a simple and usable interface that makes it easy to put up
promotional material on a website, even for a newbie without adequate
knowledge about html, xml and Flash scripts.
It helps you manage multiple affiliates
If you have more than a few affiliate products or services to promote,
you may find yourselves confused about what is happening very often. On
the other hand, getting multiple affiliates is a requirement if you
want to earn lots of money from your affiliate business. An affiliate
marketing software program can help you manage all your affiliates
easily and bring about a better sense of discipline to your entire
affiliate business.
It helps track your affiliate business success
There are times when you have been promoting some affiliate products
and services for quite some time without having the slightest clue
about whether it is working or not. Needless to say, this is not a good
practice. You need to know the health of your business so that you can
take the necessary steps, and an affiliate marketing program software
can help you by giving you the statistics you need.
Now that you are aware of the roles played by an affiliate marketing
software program, you should start looking for a good one to make your
affiliate business more streamlined.

Viral Affiliate Marketing Tips that can make you rich
Posted on October 26, 2011 by Brian
Affiliate marketing is an amazingly simple yet effective way of making
money online. However, the success of your affiliate marketing campaign
depends on how many people you can reach with your promotions. If only
a few people are convinced about the product or service you promote,
you would earn very little money. On the other hand, you can earn lots
of money if you can convince more people. Now, in most cases, it takes
a long time to see the effects of a promotional campaign. However, with
a viral affiliate marketing campaign, you can see results in a really
short time and you can get rich really quickly with the commission you
earn. So if you are interested in making your affiliate marketing
campaign go viral, here are some tips that can help you:
1. Be different
In a time where there are hundreds and thousands of products and
services being sold, it is very difficult to find something different.
That is why people love it when someone comes up with a campaign that
is totally different, and they make it go viral. Some of the most
popular marketing campaigns are completely different from what you
would expect for that product or service.
2. Create a reaction
Of course, being different is not the only thing that will make your
affiliate marketing campaign go viral. No matter what you promotional
tool you use- video, blog, banner, or poster - it has to create a
strong emotional appeal. You need to get people excited if you want to
get the real response.
3. Do not try to directly promote your product
If you are looking to make our affiliate marketing campaign go viral,
then do not directly market the affiliate product or service. In other
words, the running concept of your campaign has to be something other
than your own product. Many businesses feel that promotional videos or
photographs go viral because people like the product itself. That is
not true. The fact is that people share videos and photographs because
of its concept. Some of the best advertisements you see do not have the
product or service on the centre stage and that is why they go viral.
4. Offer something in return for sharing
The final tip that could help you make your affiliate-marketing program
go viral is to offer people an incentive for sharing the message. The
incentive has to be tangible and, of course, valuable. For example, you
could offer a discount on the purchase or a free trial of the service.
The choice of incentive depends on what you and your affiliate decides
on.
These are just a few tips to get your affiliate marketing campaign go
viral. Very few campaigns manage to go viral, but if you can succeed in
it, you stand to earn a lot of money.

Web Conferencing - An effective tool in Affiliate Marketing
Posted on October 25, 2011 by Brian
You can find several different types of affiliate marketing programs
all over the Internet, and an equally large number of tools that help
you find success in your affiliate business. Some of the most common
tools used by most affiliate marketers include promotional banners,
blogging, social networking and other common affiliate marketing tools.
However, there is one affiliate-marketing tool that is as effective as
others, but is still barely talked about except among the biggest
affiliate-marketing experts. That tool is web conferencing. Many of you
might be confused about how web conferencing helps an affiliate
business, so let's take a quick look at the benefits this tool offers:
It makes communication more convenient
An affiliate business would require regular communication between you
and your affiliates. There are several methods to do this, but web
conferencing takes the cake. Web conferencing is a real business
communication tool, unlike chatting through instant messengers. This
business tool gives you a secure channel to talk to your affiliates,
and gives you loads of options that make business meetings more
convenient for all the parties. You can show the progress of your
affiliate-marketing program by sharing documents or PowerPoint
presentations. You can talk to all your affiliates at once in a single
business meeting.
It saves time and effort
Another big benefit of web conferencing is that it saves you time and
effort. Serious affiliate businesspersons would be aware of the time
that it takes to talk to affiliates and share the necessary information
with them. Regular phone calls are quite useless for this purpose and
personal, face-to-face meetings just take too much time. However, a
simple web conference saves the time it would take for attending a real
meeting and lets you do more than you could with a phone call. In other
words, web conferencing gives you the best of both worlds. The time and
effort that you are able to save with a web conference can then be
utilized for actually running your business or spending a little more
time with your family.
It proves beneficial for both you and your affiliate
Let us not talk about only your benefits here. An affiliate business
can only run if both you and your affiliates get benefits. In similar
way, web conferencing also provides a win-win situation for your
business. The benefits stated above do not just apply to you; they
apply to your affiliates as well. They get to save on their time and
effort and it is a convenient tool for them as well. By getting the
same benefits, you can make your business healthier and more
profitable.
Like any other tool in affiliate marketing, web conferencing also needs
to be used effectively for it to show positive effects on your
affiliate business. If used properly, web conferencing may just be the
boost you are looking for your affiliate-marketing program.

Article Marketing - An integral part of your Affiliate Business
Posted on October 24, 2011 by Brian
Affiliate marketing is probably one of the most lucrative online
businesses in the current scenario. What makes affiliate marketing so
popular is its simplicity - you have to promote a product or service
and in return you get a commission whenever someone goes to the
seller's website because of you. There are several ways through which
you can succeed in your affiliate business, but none of them is as
important and efficient as article marketing.
What is article marketing?
As you would have guessed by now, article marketing is nothing but
writing articles that promote the products or services you are
associated with. Article marketing, however, is not meant to be
completely promotional like the sales pages you would see online. The
articles that you write have to be informative and provide something
valuable to the reader. This way, your readers will come to trust you
and think of you as an expert on the field.
Why do you need article marketing?
In an age where videos are more popular, you may wonder why article
marketing is so integral to an affiliate business. The fact is that
many people still consider articles to be the mark of expertise. Not
many people have the ability to write articles, especially about a
niche topic. By writing articles that give real and useful information
about a certain topic, you are actually branding yourself as an expert
- someone who not only knows about the subject, but is skilled enough
to put it in writing and willing to publish it for everyone's benefit.
What has `building trust' got to do with an affiliate business?
No matter what kind of business you have, you have to build trust with
your customer base in order to be successful. This applies to your
affiliate business as well. When you build trust with your readers,
they would be more willing to click on your affiliate links or even buy
your products. Expert advice always sparks interest among prospective
customers, and if you play your cards right, you can convert those
transactions and get a commission.
How do you write articles for affiliate marketing?
As mentioned earlier, the articles you write need to be informative. It
is best if you talk about everything you know about the subject. If you
do not know much about it, then you can learn. If you are just planning
to start an affiliate business, it is best if you choose a product or
service that you know about and that you would purchase yourself. Share
everything you know about a topic so that you become the go-to person
for your readers. Most importantly, keep your articles original and
make your presence in as many article directories as you can to get the
maximum visibility.
As you can see, article marketing is truly an integral part of your
affiliate business, and might just be the key to your success.

Impact of Social Media on Affiliate Marketing
Posted on October 19, 2011 by Brian
Did you know that search behemoth Google, even with a profit that goes
up to several billion dollars every year, is seriously being contested
for its top spot by Facebook? Social media websites have become a
dominant part of the Internet landscape in just a few years. The
Internet has gone from a source of information to an interactive
community where people can meet and talk. You do not need statistics to
prove this either. All you need to do is type the word `social' on
Google, and 4 out of the top 5 phrases are related to social media
websites (`social networking sites', `social media', `social network'
and `social media marketing' take the top 4 spots).
So what does this mean for affiliate marketing enthusiasts? It spells a
number of opportunities for affiliate marketers to spread their wings
and increase their revenue.
Social media and affiliate marketing
Social media has been popular among other marketers for some time now.
Movies, music albums and corporate companies and a lot more have been
promoted on websites like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. Social media
websites can be great marketing tools for affiliate marketers too, and
they can generate a lot of traffic for you.
How long can social media be of use to affiliate marketing?
The large amount of traffic is a gateway of opportunities for affiliate
marketing. However, one of the biggest concerns among marketers is
whether or not social media will last. Many critics have called these
websites a fad indulgence, but this is not really true. Social media
marketing is still on the rise, and social networking websites are
definitely here to stay.
What has affiliate marketing got to do with social media?
Social media websites are a great way for brands to display a strong
sense of personality, and to open themselves to their customers, but
what can affiliate marketers do to tap into social media websites? What
can these marketers gain from social media? Affiliate marketing can be
done through social networking websites by sending out the latest
product promotions, announcing the latest news of the business or
product you are marketing, and linking them to you. You can post
relevant and useful topics from your clients. In other words, instead
of enticing viewers to come to you, can go to your viewers personally
through these networking websites.
Using affiliate marketing for social media websites is no rocket
science. Many affiliate markets have used these websites, while many
more have abused it. If you are utilizing these websites like Facebook
and Twitter, then you must remember to control your messaging and keep
them positive. These websites can give you negative publicity just as
easily as you get positive publicity. In simple words, respect social
media and handle it with care if you are using it for affiliate
marketing.

New Trends in Affiliate Marketing
Posted on September 16, 2011 by Brian
The key to being a successful affiliate marketer is having the ability
to keep up with marketing trends. With each trend change, the world of
affiliate marketing can become a completely different game, which is
why the power affiliates tend to have little competition.
Here are just a few things that are different with affiliate marketing:
1. Google's Panda
Since February 2011, Google has been releasing various updates of their
new algorithm, called Panda. This new algorithm disregards sites that
focus on SEO features that are easy to manipulate, such as keywords and
backlinks. Instead, Panda regards sites that users would genuinely
think of as high quality. These features may be a simple website
layout, informative and unique content, limited ads, and a privacy
policy.
Many website owners complained about the new algorithm change, saying
that it is unfair and does not target the right sites. However, the
developers behind the algorithm change still stand behind their
conviction that Panda is, in fact, very accurate in determining low
quality sites.
Many SEO experts have tried to understand what is truly considered when
determining a site's quality level and page rank; however, the results
are usually inconsistent. Google tells site owners to focus on quality
instead of SEO.
As a site owner and affiliate marketer, you need to focus on your
site's quality. Don't use pre-made landing pages. Don't use lengthy
sales pitches. Make sure your site is simple and informative.
2. New social media strategies
With the release of Google's Google+ site, many people are wondering if
it will change how Google determines page rank. For example, the plus
one button is Google's version of Facebook's like button and Youtube's
thumbs up button. However, unlike other sites, this button extends
beyond social media into a more global setting. The plus one button
operates within the Google search engine and even shows up in the
Google+ website.
When a user clicks the plus one button for a certain site, that site
may show up as a recommendation to his friends - both on the search
engine and the Google+ social media site.
It should be easy to understand that you need to accumulate plus one
clicks on your website for a couple of reasons. First, the more plus
ones you have, the more likely it is that Google will regard your site
as high quality, thus improving your search engine results. Second,
your site will show up more often as recommendations to users in
Google+. This button could very well change the SEO game to focus more
on user reviews and interests.
3. Product demand shift
If you are still trying to sell products that were popular a couple of
months ago, you are outdated. There is a constant shift in product
demand, so what was popular yesterday may not be popular today. This
also applies to product types, such as ebooks and member subscription
services.
You need to determine what people consider popular today and try to
determine what will be popular in the near future. You need to promote
and sell the product that will become popular in the near future to
maximize your revenue potential and gain the authority status for that
product. You can usually do this by observing the current trends and
theorize what the extended feature of that trend will be.
For example, social media and geo-location apps are very popular on
smartphones. Additionally, smartphones are the hottest gadget as of
now. Therefore, try to determine what type of apps or other products
will sell in the near future. You know it will incorporate social media
and geo-location. The product may be exclusive to a smartphone, or it
may be offered on other platforms. Regardless, you can make an educated
guess and sell affiliate products that are related to that niche.
Hopefully these tips help you to become a better affiliate marketer. By
understanding new trend shifts, you can be one step ahead of your
competition.

Role of Mentoring in Affiliate Marketing
Posted on September 12, 2011 by Brian
Have you tried to earn money through affiliate marketing, only to fail
miserably? If your answer is `yes', then you are not alone. You are
among the hundreds of people who have been stung badly by affiliate
marketing. In fact, many people even feel that affiliate marketing is
nothing but a lot of hype and hoopla, like most other Internet based
schemes. However, the truth is that the Internet is filled with
activities such as affiliate marketing that has the potential to
generate a lot of revenue.
Read the last sentence once again- the operative word here is
`potential'. Affiliate marketing does not magically help you make money
in no time. It has the potential to do so, but it is up to you to tap
this potential.
Can information alone help?
Many people feel that having a lot of information on affiliate
marketing helps in unlocking its potential and earning lots of money.
They find out everything they can about affiliate marketing, but in the
end, they too fall short. The fact is that information alone is not
enough to utilize the true potential of your affiliate marketing
program. You need to add an extra factor to do this- mentoring.
What is mentoring?
A mentor is not simply a teacher who does all the work while the
student listens and takes in all the information. If you already know
everything there is to know about affiliate marketing, then a teacher
would not be of much use. A mentor, on the other hand, does more than
training. Mentoring requires the student to also work and take action.
Knowledge and the right technical skills are just components in an
affiliate marketing plan. Mentoring is actually the glue that binds all
the components together to make the plan a success.
What is the role of mentoring?
The role of mentoring extends beyond taking a few lessons. Successful
mentoring has to start with the complete understanding of the student's
skill level. The mentor has to know what the student already knows
before he/she can teach anything new. The mentor then has to find out
what are the goals of the student. Only then can he/she guide the
student in the right way.
How to find a mentor in affiliate marketing?
You can find mentoring programs all over the Internet within just a few
minutes of searching. It can be a little difficult to find a real
affiliate marketing mentor among the crowd, but make sure that you do
not just get some tips or an eBook for affiliate marketing as a
`mentoring' program. Mentoring works both ways, which means that the
student and the mentor have to work together in tandem to achieve
success in affiliate marketing.

Online Tools that Enhance Your Productivity in Affiliate Marketing
Posted on September 10, 2011 by Brian
Affiliate marketing is a wide field that lets you make a lot of money
online. Broadly speaking, all you have to do is to convince someone to
click on a link to a website so you can get a commission from that
website. Of course, affiliate marketing also includes convincing
visitors to sign up for something or enter their email address. No
matter what you convince viewers to do, the basic idea is that you get
money through commissions. This opens up a lot of opportunities and
tools that can be used for you to achieve affiliate marketing success.
If you are looking for such tools, then here they are:
1. A blog
This is arguably one of the best online tools for improving your
productivity in affiliate marketing. Blogs get ranked faster, provided
you use the right SEO tool (which will come later in this list). It
also works really well because blogs are considered to be a lot more
personal than a regular website. Readers are more likely to believe the
words of the blogger and would follow the recommendations given by a
blogger because it seems to be more genuine.
2. Social networking websites
This is not as old as blogs, but definitely scores as an affiliate
marketing tool because of the same reasons as blogging. In just a few
years, social networking websites have come a long way. These websites
let you connect to people and give a more personal feel to your
promotions. Social media is still an emerging tool, so if you do plan
to jump on the bandwagon, you cannot go anywhere but up.
3. Search Engine Optimization
Although it is not high on the trust-building factor, SEO is a very
important online tool for affiliate marketing because it actually puts
your website on the map. How can you expect people to come to your
website and click on links when they do not even know that you exist?
For those of you who are not aware, search engine optimization
basically puts your website up on the search engine results page,
depending on what the user is searching for. There are a lot of rules
and regulations to follow, so make sure that you know all of them and
then use SEO to your advantage.
The three tools given above are great ways to improve your productivity
in affiliate marketing, but you must be careful about how you use them.
These tools are extremely potent- for improving your productivity, as
well as for stomping it down into the ground. Make sure that you are
completely aware of how to use these tools before you start using them.
You must achieve profit through customer satisfaction, and not through
mere numbers.

Blog your way to Affiliate Marketing Success
Posted on September 9, 2011 by Brian
It is no secret that blogging has a lot of money in it, even though a
lot of people consider blogging as a purely personal thing. Blogs are a
very effective affiliate marketing tool, because they let you reach out
to your readers personally and increase your search page ranking within
just days after you post content. However, blogging success has eluded
most affiliate marketers for a number of reasons. Here is a look at
some tips that you can follow to blog your way to affiliate marketing
success:
1. Improve your network outside your blog-
Blogs can help in affiliate marketing if you have a good network. In
terms of blogging, this means your blog readers, subscribers, your
email list, Facebook friends, and Twitter friends. You should not just
try to increase your network; you should also develop the quality of
the network by improving the trust that people have in you. Help them
by solving their queries and comments that they would leave on your
blog. Make sure that the people in your network share your interests,
and are not just numbers to boost your network size.
2. Write multiple blogs on the same product
This particular tip can work if you are careful about what you are
writing. You should write a blog that talks about the product in
general that you are promoting. Next, you should put up a review of the
product that gives your readers a lot of useful information on the
product. You need not be limited to these ideas only- you can make your
own blogs. Just make sure that they are unique and give useful
information. This leads to the last tip of this series.
3. Keep your readers in mind
Blogs may be money-churning machines, but they should not be treated
that way. Remember that the people who can make or break your affiliate
marketing plan on your blog are your readers. So keep in mind that the
blogs you write, no matter what they are, are relevant to your readers.
Put yourself in their shoes and think about what they would be looking
for. If you are promoting a product, think about the mindset of a
person who is shopping for it. With this approach, you can make
relevant blogs that are not only insightful for the reader, but also
valuable for affiliate marketing sales.
Irrespective of what others might say, achieving affiliate marketing
success through your blog takes time and effort. An affiliate program
can get you money quickly, but only after you have invested enough
effort in it. If you are in your early days, you may not even see any
results, but once it does start picking up, your affiliate marketing
sales will grow exponentially.

Ways to Increase traffic to your Affiliate Marketing Website
Posted on September 7, 2011 by Brian
If you want to succeed in affiliate marketing, you have to drive
traffic to your website. After all, the whole idea of making money
through affiliate marketing is to convince website visitors to visit
the sites you want them to go to. However, this is easier said than
done. As an affiliate marketer, you would probably know all this
already, but it is really difficult to attract traffic to your website,
especially when your website is just one in the billions of others
floating around the Internet. That said, there is no need to get
disheartened. You can still succeed in your affiliate marketing
program.
Here are some tips that can get you to improve traffic to your
affiliate marketing website:
Search Engine Optimization
If you have been online long enough, you probably know what SEO is
about already. It is, in many ways, the elixir of life for your
affiliate marketing campaign. You really cannot ignore the importance
of search engines, so if you want to drive more traffic to your
affiliate marketing website, you have to get into the good books of
these search engines. There are a lot of rules, tips and tricks that
you can look up on the Internet. When you start applying SEO to your
website, make sure that you follow these rules.
Link exchange and backlinking
This is one of the oldest ways for improving the traffic to your
affiliate website, and it still remains important. You can set up links
to your website on other websites, so that readers of those websites
can jump to your website. A word of advice- you should make sure that
you post links to your website on sites that suit your niche.
Writing articles
Articles are another great way to drive traffic to your website. You
can post these articles on your website and in other article
directories where people look for information. Just make sure that the
articles you write are relevant to the product that you are involved
with. Also make sure the content of the articles is unique and, most
important, useful for the reader.
Promote yourself through social networking websites
Websites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. are loaded with traffic
that you can direct to your affiliate website. You can do this by
posting information that is relevant and useful for the people who are
reading them, and enticing them to go to your website.
There are always two sides to a coin, and the same can be said about
these ways of traffic building to your affiliate marketing website. You
can either build traffic the right way by putting in time and hard
work, or you can resort to fast traffic building `schemes', which
crumble and fall equally fast.

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
